Job description

1. Take charge of "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence", "Seminar of Artificial Intelligence Utilization" and some other specialized classes
2. Support and facilitate project-based learning course "Using AI to Solve Local Problems"
3. Respond to technical consultations from local companies
4. Conduct research and/or social contributions in collaboration with the local community.
5. Provide other support for AARL in the areas of education, research, and public relations.

Compensation

• Salary will be paid pursuant to the provisions of the Kurume Institute of Technology Internal Regulations on the Application of Annual Salary System.
• Commuting allowance will be paid if applicable
• Working hours: Weekday 8:30～17:00
• Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end, and New Year holidays
• Insurance: (1) Social, (2) Health, (3) Unemployment, and (4) Industrial accident

Qualifications

1. The candidate must hold a doctoral degree and be proficient in Japanese.
2. The candidate must contribute to research and education of AI and/or data science.
3. The candidate must have the programming skills necessary for AI implementation.
4. The candidate must have student leadership ability.
5. The candidate must be cooperative with the operation of the AARL.
6. Once appointed, the candidate must work actively to acquire external funds (Grant in Aid for Scientific Research, etc.)

The first screening is a document screening. After passing the first screening, the second screening will be the selection by interview.
